The Cutimed® Sorbion Sorbact® dressing is engineered with advanced Sorbact® Technology to provide superior wound care. This innovative technology safely and irreversibly binds bacteria, rendering them inactive and preventing the release and replication of toxins. Unlike conventional antimicrobial dressings, the bacteria bind directly to the Sorbact® fibers, allowing for safe removal of cell debris from the wound bed.
This dressing is an excellent replacement for silver-based products, as it eliminates the risk of bacterial resistance by avoiding the release of chemically active agents. The superabsorbent core is designed to absorb and retain moderate to high levels of exudate, significantly reducing the risk of skin maceration, even when used under compression.
